I LOVE sharing nuggets of widsom from families I've been blessed to rub shoulders with, and I especially love when they are my siblings. I have 7 siblings, so you will see a lot of them. Gabe is my youngest brother, and he and his beautiful wife Laura are newlyweds! They are SO much fun to be around, and have a wise yet lighthearted approach to life that we all can learn a lot from. Laura shared some thoughts with me, and I'm so excited to share them with you!

What do you do to fill your cup?
Prayer and time with Jesus is a must! I also love to get outside and get my heart pumping! It always feels like a nice factory reset! I love running, camping, skiing, and rock climbing.
What are some of the greatest joys about the season you’re in?
We’ve so enjoyed our newlywed season, learning more about eachother and how to support one another has been such a sweet time. I love sharing life with my best friend and plotting the future together.
Can you think of something you learned from your parents that you take with you today?
It’s hard to narrow this down to one thing but I think the biggest thing my parents have taught me is to find my sole identity as a daughter of the King! As you go through life it’s human nature to try to find our identity in circumstantial things but I really found my footing in life when I realized that my identity in Christ is what defines me.
What’s your favorite verse and why?
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
I always loved this verse because without making light of the difficulties that we are due to face in life, we are reminded that we get to share in Christs victory over sin and death every day! This really helps me keep an eternal perspective on life’s trials.
